- What dates and times are the course?
- This course will run from Jan 1 - Jan 21, 2023 for a total of 3 weeks. Lessons are two hours each and will occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:30pm - 9:30pm EST.
- How do I sign-up?
- You can sign up using the sign-up form at the top of this page. Note, you must be a chriscourses.com premium member in order to be part of this cohort.
- How can I join lessons once they start?
- Zoom links will be sent out to students via the email they signed up with ~30 minutes prior to each lesson.
- Can I ask questions during the sessions?
- Yes, as long as it's related to the course material. This is your chance to get quality instruction and feedback for a very low cost compared to a normal educational instution.
- What if I miss a lesson?
- All teaching sessions will be recorded and available to students after each lesson on chriscourses.com. Each lesson will also have a GitHub commit associated with it so you can see exactly what code was changed and what we worked on. I recommend trying to attend all lessons, but missing one or two shouldn't hold you back too much.
- Why are you doing this?
- I want to expand Chris Courses by providing a community aspect—there's no better way than to learn with a group of like-minded people who are interested in the same topics you are.
- Will these lessons ever be released for free?
- Yes, in a way. I plan on recording individual lessons for this course's content on my own time as the course progresses. The finished product will be compiled into one long video available for viewing on my YouTube channel.
